Tipperary GAA 2022

Kilruane manager Liam O’Kelly is quoted in one of the papers saying Kilruane have trained 185 times this year - its not a typo as after the Quarter final he said on Tipp FM they had guys training over 170 times this year who hadn’t played a single minute of championship.

Serious enough commitment. I hope they win on Sunday.

Agreed; there’s something a bit sterile about Kiladangan.

Its Old Money v New Money.

The Magpies bring a serious swagger to proceedings.

I’d say most neutrals are behind Kilruane.

They’ve always had lovely hurlers. Craig Morgan some loss this season though

A classic GAA quote. Swear the rest weren’t training

You can have all the sessions you like, not worth a shite if lads arent training

Its taken 3 generations to get this far.

The all-conquering Under 21 winning sides from 2006, 2007, 2010 established them as a Senior team.

The beaten Under 21 county finalists from 2012, 2013 brought them on a bit to making County Quarter/Semi Final’s.

It looks like their star studded Under 21 teams from 2017-2019 who surprisingly didn’t win anything at that grade will actually be the one’s to lead them to a Senior County.

Would have always liked to see Kilruane do well, but not with that person managing them at the moment :face_vomiting:

What’s wrong with their manager?

He’s made a right job of them as there was a good chance they’d fall away once their star studded management of Eamon O’Shea/Billy O’Shea/Cormac McGrath/Noel Larkin left after 2020.

Hope they win.

I think that would be 6 different clubs to win over the past 6 years. I doubt the Tipp championship has ever been as competitive/even

2022 ?
2021 Loughmore Castleiny
2020 Kildangan
2019 Borrisilleagh
2018 Clonoulty
2017 Sars

Nenagh and Drom are others who would/could easily win it next year.

Yeah no doubt, and especially seeing as he kind of came from nowhere really in regards hurling.

But seems to be a bit of local idiot

County Under 12 A Final, 2011.

Naynagh won’t win fuck the soft townie cunts

LIke Doon, their time will come.

I think this current crop from Nenagh’s best chance may have passed.

2018 and 2019 were massive missed opportunities for them. 2013, 2014 and 2015 too.

Rolling over and giving up is becoming very acceptable it seems down Chipp way

No interest in the big ball in north Tipp.

Or mid Tipp, or west tipp

There’s clubs that would sooner burst a football than kick one.
