Post surgery it was more like 6 months. You have to undergo prehab and let the bodys natural healing process do its thing before any surgeon would look at it.
Peter Casey still isnât 100% right closing in on a year after surgery but everyone is different, physically recovering is one thing but getting back to the level you were previous to injury is another.

The original golden crop that won back to back County Under 21âs in 2006/7 ended up in Western Australia for the most part.
The next golden crop who won the 2010 County Under 21 (Hennessy/Buggy etc) were riddled with injuries.
Now they are onto their third generation to try get over the line and its not working out as well as hoped.
Yes anyone Iâve spoken to who is coming back from it is generally a bit concerned about it for a while which isnât really a mind frame you can be in to be at your best

Everyone is different but for the most its 9-12 months.
Van Dijk took almost a full year

As long as there isnât any insurance settlement clauses I suppose he would. Hips donât lie though, when theyâre fucked you canât play through it

No. Football in West Tipp is at an all time low in my lifetime. No one close to the county panel. 15 years ago there was cut there and half a county team based there. The loss of Damien O Brien from the Abbey was massive.
