Tipperary GAA 2023

They have done a great job on the pitch, it’s as flat as a pancake now.

They built a new clubhouse right in on top of the pitch which means there’s only one small stand on the far side.

Well they get an income stream from it. That neutral venue belongs to a club and they would get a % of the gate of any games they host.

The BOICMC can be a great earner for Clubs.

Record levels of North bias coming across in this. Tomas Matthews of CK Streaming/Clonakenny offers some differing opinion.
He is fair cutting about his own lads :joy:

Skip the first 20 minutes which is just a review of last weekend.

It’s a good show overall.

It’s a continuing issue with new developments all over the country.

I’d have bias in West Tipperary but as pitches go Golden, Dundrum & even Cahir just get the blend needed right.

Good surfaces, supporters close to the action & none far from a Watering Hole.

The Golden Vale is missed from Dundrum

Ah but Bertie’s is a noble institution

Shock on the cards in the first quarter final.

Roscrea 5 up against Loughmore at HT, they are running them off the park in the wide environs of Semple stadium.

Loughmore win by a point. Roscrea could have won that. #5 in on goal and fumbled a great chance late on.

Roscrea May think they will come again but unlike Holycross many of their team are in their mid-late 20s , they may not get another chance. Taking off Tynan was an odd one, you leave your county man on. They overworked the ball at times in the second half.
Ciaran Connolly got the full 60 which is good for Tipp. Shane Fletcher was excellent for Ros again, prob lacks size but he’s a lovely club player.

Didn’t see the other game but Holycross have 4 or 5 more to add to that panel next year. Barrett is 30 this year so they probably have 3/4 more years to make that big breakthrough. Darragh Woods on fire again today according to Tipp fm, not a Cahill player but he’s some man to score.

Sars B beating Burgess in the premier intermediate probably the big surprise of the day.

Tynan was sick with a virus and hadn’t trained for ten days.

Drom defeat Big Rob Ryan’s Knock in the Mid Junior B final. The man himself bestrode the sideline in an orange bib

Clonoulty equalise with the last puck of their game vs Toomevara to bring extra time

Fuck Toome

FBD Insurance County Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Final
