Age doesnât really matter as much for women does it?
Tell that to my Mrs
Drom putting it up to a star studded Sars outfit in the Mid Under 19 Semi Final. Ahead by a point at half time
On in the Outside Field?
4 in a row chasing Holycross 10 points up in the other semi final.
Yes. That green jersey is like kryptonite to favoured Sars teams in a close game
âŚ
I spoke too soon. Great effort all the same by a group with a lot of limited enough players but tired in the final ten. Goliath won this time around.
A point up with 10 to go but got white line fever
Will be some Mid Final.
Could be the County Final in all but name.
The clubs feeding the Thurles CBS behemoth are going to dominate club hurling in Tipperary for the next decade
Newport are the club to watch.
Won the north u13 A by 13 last night.
A Mid Tipperary selection could win a few Liam McCarthyâs on their own in the next decade.
They have insane numbers - more than Nenagh I believe. They are starting from a low base at adult though - would want to watch themselves or they could end up Junior âAâ - very poor first round result v Davins
10 years away from being contenders
If we can keep them away from the high stool. Won the county A and county C u15 last year. Did the same double in u15 football this year.
No Connolly, Breen, Connors, Doyle, Morris, McCarthy, O Donoghue, O Farrell or McCormack on a Tipp team for the next 5 years?
Not to mention Forde, Kennedy or Kenneally.
Hard to fathom how you thought of that.
Real coming of age win for Holycross last night over a seasoned Kiladangan.
Two 18 year olds in OâReilly and Tiarnan Ryan were excellent. 10 of the starting team were U21 last year and most still underage this year. 4 of them are still u19 and have that Mid Final on Wednesday night where they are chasing 4 County Championships in a row.
When Bryan OâMara comes back from injury theyâll be stronger again. Cathal Barrett is the daddy of the team and doing a fine job of it.
They can sit back today and enjoy Michael Lowryâs Country Music Festival which takes place.
Kiladangan will be a bit disappointed with some of the goals conceded and will have a big say in the Championship yet. A very high standard game, well refereed by John McCormack.
Great official with bags of common sense
We are very lucky in Tipperary that not only do we have the best hurlers in the country but we have the best referees as well.
Michael Kennedy, Conor Doyle, John McCormack, Fergal Horgan, Kevin Jordan etc all very good.
It was a cracking game. However Holycross were under pressure going down the stretch and looked like they would be caught only for to get the 4th goal.
We have a fair few duds too, especially once you leave the senior grade.
