Iām not sure they have a āhors catĆ©gorieā forward for inter county level.
They very much remind me of Kiladangan in that they are producing a lot of players of a certain standard.

Ah Robbie Ryan is very good. Tiarnan Ryan too.
Since 2022 their underage record is as follows:
1x U17 championships (lost two more County Finalās)
3x U19 championships (lost another County Semi Final which was a big shock)
2x U21 championships
Theyāve done back to back now at U21 and could win the next three too.

The foundations are there alright but seeing them against Loughmore in the semi they were jittery and a bit green, shooting over the shoulder constantly etc.
Trying to keep a happy camp will be a major challenge
About 10 of that team who played against Loughmore were U21. Individually the players are very good. OāReilly captained the Tipp Minors to an All Ireland and is a Senior panelist already at 18. Tiarnan Ryan was MOTM in an All Ireland Minor Final and will be a Tipp Senior panelist sooner or later. Robbie Ryan captained Thurles CBS to a Harty and All Ireland. Evan Morris was MOTM in a Harty Cup Final.
They were missing two County players including Jim Ryan who was Centre Back on an All Ireland U20 winning team through injury yesterday and still won by nearly 20 points.
Thereās never been an underage team like it in Tipp. Not even the Padraic Maher Thurles team.

As my travelling companion from The Ragg said yesterday after the Drom match, from 1-9 they are probably as good as anyone in the country, but until they produce a forward of the calibre of Seamus Callanan or John McGrath the doubts will remain until they win one.
