Tipperary GAA 2026. The Champs

Surely there’s other keepers in the county above Brian Hogan?

I had heard a while back that Barry Hogan was going travelling.

Also heard stories of Jerome Cahill and Mark Kehoe to return.

Hurler on the Ditch will love Barry Hogan coming back :rofl:

Thinking about this a bit, Brian is an all ireland winning goalkeeper… that said, what else do you get?
You get a 6ft 5 man that you can use to prepare for a big full forward. He can play in the backs like he does for Lorrha. A great training tool. Not just a very good keeper.
Also, with the return of big full forwards and high ball in fashion… you need a big fucker in goals.

Just can’t see that happening. Be a fine addition.

Surprised Ciarán Connolly not gone in, but maybe he turned down the call again?

Anybody hearing the new Cork hurling coach has stepped away?

Enda Dunphy and Eoin Collins.

Rory Brislane and Daryl Ryan maybe too.

Bit of a backwards move IMO bringing someone back who hasnt been in the country in three years.

He already had a long look at Enda Dunphy, no?

Yes. I dont rate Cahill’s judgement of goalkeepers though.

He managed to retire O’Keefe in Waterford and chopped and changed between O’Brien and Nolan.

He chopped and changed between Shelly and Hogan for the last three years and even at Minor and U20 he couldn’t make up his mind between Hogan and Ciaran Barrett.

How does Tom Delaney warrant a look when he hasn’t properly played Hurling in about 2 years bar a scattering of matches for Cahir this year (which he was not good in)

Tom Delaney from Borrisileigh.

Been injured a bit so never broke onto the Tipp U20 team but a serious player.

I’m dumb

Sound

Yes, Cahill’s selections are often off but are rectified by performance. Which is no bad thing. Because he does keep changing until he finds a recipe and doesn’t just stick to what he believes.

It’s of no surprise to me that there are players who never made it at u20 on the senior team. The two managements see the game very differently.

Lads being called up to the Senior Panel who weren’t even in the U20 Management’s plans for next year despite being underage too.

That U20 Team will be very hard to pick again next year. I see there were 4 snipers in Cooper Helmets among the UL Fresher team that won the League last night.

Elsewhere, I see there was over 200k raised in London at some dinner last Friday night and this Quid Game will surely bring in another bit this weekend.

I dont know how they are going to spend it all.

New York dinner this week? Tis all badly needed and more…

Any sign of Aaron Morgan on this panel?
I’d imagine Keith Ryan will be looked at after his club year ends.

Is the documentary any good lads?

Watched it tonight. Nicely made and very good if you are from Tipp. Quite touching around the Dillon Quirke piece too.

There’s not a whole pile of behind the scenes shots bar a few bits from the gym and some running they did in Kilworth and no real dressing room footage like the Galway '98 or Crossmaglen ones if that’s what you are looking for.

Any footage of players being turned away from Hayes hotel after proferring the ‘do you know who I am’ line? Were any of the bouncers wearing a league of Ireland club hat?

Best of luck to @peddlerscross , @endakenny and @Fat_Pox in the counties premier St.Stephen’s Day event today.

Played alongside @endakenny and our first eight shots were as close to perfection as we could have imagined.

Things went awry from there though and we missed out on a play off by one shot to a crack outfit from Doon.

Record numbers there again. All Ireland winners from across Munster in attendance. Disappointing to see @endakenny and @Fat_Pox slink off home early. That’s the way its gone now I suppose.

There’s a tractor run today in the parish. Not too many places could pull it all off.
