does this mean that Tipp have a forward line a Bonnar, Bubbles and Buggy???
The standard of nicknames in Tipp has declined since the days of the Viking

Buggy isn’t there anymore, its his brother corner forward whose nickname is actually Bill even though his name is Niall
Bonnar, Bubbles and Bill then. Is Buggy still on the panel?
Why is buggy no longer involved?
No although he did score 2-17 in a club game recently
sounds impressive. didn’t he play under 21 football with tipp? Is he an option for Tipp senior footballers?
How is he not on the panel?
Twas only against Cashel. He is a bit slow for inter county I think
Jaysus he must have been tired from all the swinging.
When he came onto the team he looked like a dump truck with a decent pair of wrists attached. There has to be a role for him somewhere.
His role is in club hurling.

He’d be a legend if he came from Limerick.
Going to have a speculative punt on James Barry for MOTM tomorrow at 25/1.
Championship newcomers have a great record of picking up these gongs especially when they study in UCC.
Ok here we go…
On all known form Tipp should win comfortably. They’re hurling at a higher level, pace and against better opposition in the league. This ain’t the league though and all bets are off when it comes to Munster championship hurling. Limerick arguably have a stronger starting 15 than this time last year and also have the added experience of having actually won something for the first time in 16 years.
Tipp have a good blend to their team with sticky corner backs, a pure hurler at 6, two workhorses in midfield and, on their day, good stickmen up front. But they go with three unproven debutants, some notoriously inconsistent forwards and a management team that, as yet, remains unconvincing.
Limerick have a cobbled together backroom setup where the major fear is as to exactly how far Ryan is out of his depth. Clarkey will add passion and stability but the reality is that this game is down to the players and the players alone. I expect Hickey to play a roaming/tracking role and he may spend little time as a conventional corner-back. The two midfields tend to cancel each other out so it’ll come down to the Limerick forwards. If they spark, we will win. If not, it could be a long and painful afternoon. I’m not mad on the idea on constantly rotating forwards. If you have the beating of your immediate opponent you sew it into them. Force the opposition to readjust and deviate from their gameplan. This is where I fear Ryan could fuck it up as a simple game may have been overanalysed.
As I said, it’s down to the players taking responsibility. If they believe in themselves and make the right calls I’ll be very happy.
They have the ability to do so. Limerick by 3.
i have backed Limerick to win the game

I told you that 2 days ago you cunt.
On the train now big crowd hon to fuck!!!
Limerick will win and Dowling will be man of the match.
The buzz of championship day.
It’s the hope that kills you.
The football last night has knocked the stuffing out of me, to be honest. Everything points to a Tipp win. Home advantage, driven by last year, more impressive as the league went on, doubts over us etc.
I’m expecting a big display from us. I think we’ll give it a right rattle but I think we’ll come up short. Worried about certain lines on the field, namely the full back-line and the make up of the half forward line. It’ll take a monumental display to end our Ibrox hoodoo. As Clare proved last year it’s not the end of the world to lose early on but a heavy beating and it’s hard to see us recovering this year.
