The one v Cork at 2.15 is unreal aswell
I was actually thinking of putting money on a Limerick win on Sunday. But then i realised that this game is out of their Gaelic Grounds comfort zone and as we all know Limerick teams just can’t win outside the Gaelic Grounds.
I remember them handing Cork their arses down in the Pairc. Cork were so bad their best player was a lad they poached from Carlow.
Thats a clamping.

One of my favourite players in his peak years. Perfect fusion of balance, skill, and power. Tipp were pretty shite for most of the years he was at his best though.
Was that Mark Mullins? He was the man that broke Seanie McMahon’s collarbone as well. Quality player.
That’s the lad.
Wouldn’t be like Cork at all to poach players from lesser Leinster counties.
Was that the lad that racially abused Sean Og on his debut oh wait that was someone else!
They were even poaching footballers from Tipperary in those days, the Scouse Cafu.
They’ve an Antrim man playing for them now. They also poached Rory Gallagher from Donegal.
Cunts.
Our starting half forward line of hannon, Dodge & Dowling will have to put in a serious shift lads, even though they are superior hurlers to Hickey, JimBob & Breen who where there last year, that line negated the Tipp half back line which seriously contributed to us beating the bastards last year- It’s a brave move from the management in fairness.
Regards the full forward line, we most likely will bring Mulcahy out the field where he has been most successful for us in the past, i’ve great faith in him and reckon his due a serious game. Downes is possibly wasted at 14, but he has the potential to roast Padraic Maher and I’m hoping that the forward’s will be interchanging throughout so that he get’s time on the 40 where he is at his most dangerous. Dowling had to start for the free’s regardless of anything else. Not popular opinion but I just don’t have the faith in Hannon/allis on the frees even though shane isn’t even taking them for Na Piarsaigh.
It possibly will come down to a shoot out with our best 5 forwards + Dodgy starting, I hope to god we can do it, as I believe this to be the most talented sqaud we’ve had in 20 years (particularly in the forwards) & a bad loss would send us back a mile.
I also hope that the Intermediates do themselves justice without any of the u21’s, be great to bate the tinfoil brigade at all levels this weekend including the football tomorrow night which I’ll also be attending, Luimneach Abu!!!
The forwards Limerick have will cause any team problems but im not sure that the half back combination named is Limericks strongest.Apparently TJ is no great tactician either.I can certainly see Limerick in the semi finals come August but they are probably a couple of players short of an all ireland. To be fair i don’t think Limerick have received enough credit for winning munster last year.

Bring it on[/QUOTE]
Do Tipp fear the fact that Limerick never feared Tipp??
Tipp only fear paying for sandwich’s outside of the county and the soup kitchen closing in Tipp town.

good article here written by a lad from boards.ie
we will not be beat.
oh yes.
On my way to thurles tomorrow i will have to attend a funeral deep in tippland, the mother of a close work colleague. There will be a few more limerick people doing the same. I am mulling over what to wear into the church

Tell your work colleague “I’m very sorry for your loss. Condolences also on the death of your mother.”
