What happened there?
Some scandal about an AFL player who posted some revenge porn on social media. Tadgh suggested the girl shouldnât have got into a situation where the picture could be taken.
An All-Ireland final a few years back. Kerry v Cork. Ball was thrown in and he smacked a Cork lad straight in the head/face. Blatant red card. Got away without as much as a yellow card I think. (Was it Nicholas Murphy he hit, @gilgamboa @caoimhaoin ?)
Kerry went on to win and he fucked off back to Oz. Released an autobiography not long after where it said in the book something along the lines of âI wanted to make a statement from the start. I planned to hit him hard. Cop that.â
Bit of a hullabaloo after when it came out, he claims his ghost writer had misinterpreted what he was saying and it was never his intention to hit him or hurt anyone.

Excellent book published last few years called Night Moves (i think) which is an expose of the rape culture in australian sport. Won sports book of the year. Good read.

Iirc, it won the William hill sports book of the year. To be honest, it shouldnât have been on the long list. It was a decent enough, if somewhat depressing read.
