Idiosyncratic yes. An oddball I don’t think so. Many excellent managers are idiosyncractic too. I cannot think of an Irishman with as impressive a management record as O’Neill. He was consistently highly successful. He of course had his flaws and made emotional decisions but personally I liked him even more for that.
Ray, what did you make of his comments back in the early 00’s where expressed a preference for managing England over Ireland?
Red Cortina is an incredible song, those lads know their audience
Tremendous stuff from the two lads from the saw docs. A nice pair.
Two beautiful men
It’s hard to get more likeable fellas in music than Leo and Davy.
They have some great tunes. Often wondered why they have not seen more covers of their work.
Wasn’t N17 covered? Kinda classical take on it?
Was in college in Cardiff for a year and for some reason the local had never mind the strangers on the jukebox. By the end of the year there was locals going around the pub singing it.
Twas, girl sang it
Kinda the exception that proves the point
Ah goosebumps lads, fuckin goosebumps. Can’t wait for June.
Agreed but Davy looks fair shook for 65 by comparison with the final guest Bill Whelan who’s 75.
His eyes were fair bloodshot, is he a hard man on the drink?
I couldn’t tell you anything about that but he mentioned a few beers once or twice.
One of them Nogra lads may have a line on matters in Choom.

They made a ball of money playing gigs in the states I would say. They did well on the college circuit apparently
Leo Moran is a national treasure. Droll, whimsical and humble.
