Idiosyncratic yes. An oddball I don’t think so. Many excellent managers are idiosyncractic too. I cannot think of an Irishman with as impressive a management record as O’Neill. He was consistently highly successful. He of course had his flaws and made emotional decisions but personally I liked him even more for that.

Was in college in Cardiff for a year and for some reason the local had never mind the strangers on the jukebox. By the end of the year there was locals going around the pub singing it.

I couldn’t tell you anything about that but he mentioned a few beers once or twice.
One of them Nogra lads may have a line on matters in Choom. 
They made a ball of money playing gigs in the states I would say. They did well on the college circuit apparently
