How does someone from Tipp end up as a cop in the US and how does a cop be able to afford owning two pubs?

immigration? could have an American parent or was born there … is your mind really that blown by this?
Could have got out there on a Donnelly visa in the 80s or could have been born there and is a citizen and then returned to Tipp as a kid a la Danny Culloty.
Then he probably did a JP on it.

More by the fact a cop can afford to run two pubs. Family inheritance or “he put in a claim”.
Not unusual for cops or fire service to work in bars on their rest days over there. If you were at it early enough you’d have a nice sideline gig.

Well I suppose plenty of Gardai in the past had nice little sidelines, B&Bs, labouring, farming etc.
