Tonight's TV

From what I can gather, he’s some bloke who was straight - had a stroke - and woke up gay

Jesus that was shocking. Who or what was he?

There Will Be Blood on rte 2 tonight. I’d forgotten how good this film looks. It looks fucking amazing. Like a load of old still photos come to life. What a performance from Daniel Day Lewis as well.

+1

Anyone who’s not watching Quadrophenia on UTV now is a gaylord.

I was in Brighton for a conference a couple of years ago. It still looks like something out of a carry on movie. Down by the pier is like walking in a time warp.

I am watching the film and listening to Who songs on youtube during the breaks…

I was in Brighton around 2005 but the pier had burnt down, are they even going to bother fixing it?

What in the wide wide world of sports is a goin on here?

TCM now.

BBC 4 is epic now.

Pollock is a wonderful artist. I once visited his modest abode in the Hamptona

That painting looks like the wall of a cowhouse on testing day.

Ah Rothko

Rothko topping himself showed he was a true hero.

Alice Cooper is an alright sort.

And he loves golf

Hardy Bucks second season a big improvement on the first. The internet is the theme of tonight’s episode.

What did you think of Simon Schama’s Power of Art episode on Rothko, SS?

I didn’t see it mate. Love his stuff even though I don’t understand why.

Saw the first episode over the weekend started off shit but definitely improved.
Some of the acting is cat and we need more viper

Just over 2 years on and Will is back in action on Setanta for another Copa Sudamerican game, a semi final this time. He’s getting quite excited already and has thrown out a couple of great phrases already. He’ll eat his hat if it’s not a high scoring game. All out attack from both teams so far.

“It’s not a night to be discussing players life stories”

“It’s non stop, it’s like playstation football”
