Tonight's TV

Just turned it on now-is the person with a beard a woman?

The stuff he was saying in TV was unbelievably creepy.

Yes

Former woman, now a man.

Sick bastards the lot of them.

When you look back at it with the knowledge you have now it is unbelievable. Similar to Tom Humphries I suppose. Savile was an absolute pest of the highest order, I mean groping mentally ill teenage girls, why didnā€™t this come out when he was alive ffs.

He was at lads as well-sick fucker.

BBC and the British media should all hang their heads in shame.

God bless all the people effected by this sick fuck.

+1. Itā€™s stunning how many lemmings did nothing. Just shrugged their shoulders as if they didnā€™t want to know what he was at. Itā€™s fucked up on so many levels.

Fuck the BBC, taking the high moral ground tonight with this shit  . A decade too late ye cunts :shakefist:

The cheek of some of these cunts tonight is unbelievable considering what these poor people have being put through down to looking the other way! All to safe the face & image of the BBC.

CUNTS the lot of them.

ā€œHe always had with him a camper van or range rover with a mattress in the back.ā€

The catholic church must be delighted.

So many people, who sound generally sane and reasonable, just saying it never occurred to them to report anything.

I heard a clip from Newstalk the other day who did confront him with the allegations which suggests it was widely known.

Hardly, Saville was a catholic.

I was at mass last year and there was a substitute priest there. I remember he prayed for a local person who had died that week and also for Jimmy Saville. I thought it was strange at the time.

A dude from the journal.ie on Vincent Browne just there made an interesting point on this compared to how RTE handled all itā€™s false allegations last year. The BBC and RTE both had external investigations and examiners. But the BBC also let its investigative journalists have a run at it and produce a documentary on it. RTE closed up shop. BBC showed a documentary that will reach a much wider audience than the external report into RTE ever will. Showed up a culture difference between the two organisations he reckoned.

Iā€™m inclined to agree with the point. Didnā€™t watch the BBC documentary though so canā€™t comment on the tone of it.
