Tonight's TV

Sean Ardagh discovered his sense of humour around 15 years after the good people of Dublin SC elected him, he reckons Jedward should ride onto stage on an SPV

Good programme about the ending of WW1 on BBC2 now. Interesting stuff if your into that type of thing.
General Ludendorff was some cunt.

Would it be your favourite war Lazarus?

It had its moments for sure. The standard beorgeois moustache of the day is a bit off putting though. That said, Iā€™d be a big fan of the Russian Revolution. Do revolutions count as wars Sledge?

They donā€™t really Iā€™m afraid, not even if you specify which one. If you want to pretend youā€™re still a young student radical Iā€™d recommend the Spanish Civil War. My favourite by a country mile

Well it did produce one of Christy Moores better moments and for that alone it is to be commended

Thing on about GAA players emigrating to London on Prime Time now.

Shane Canning and Noel Doonan featured from Leitrim.

That Crime Capitals thing is on TV3. They are filming in the Gun Murder capital of Europe and the best they can come up with is the fact thereā€™s often trouble on the Luas Red line. They even had footage of a fella robbing coins out of the ticket machine

Curb your enthusiasm is on in around a half hour. Hung is on now before it. Not bad

Seen Curbs already. Which episode is it?

Smashing viewing on Vincent Browne at the moment.

Whoā€™s that cunt? (not Vincent)

Ronan Mullen. Really conservative Catholic senator. Writes for the Daily Mail. Apparently voted along with the likes of Eoghan Harris in the senate yesterday that NAMA will not be included in the Freedom of Information Act. Didnā€™t see much about it in the media.

Face on Vincent when he said Ronan mullen had a very important point to make after the break. Gas.

Seems like an utter cunt. Vincent winding the shit out of him!

How anyone, after all that has happened, can go on television and say that the Catholic Church should remain as powerful in terms of education as it always has been must be deeply disturbed.

If these abuse reports have thought us one thing is that any measure to weaken the grasp that the Catholic Church has on this country is to be welcomed. Therefore the religious links to schools should be done away with.

Not to mention the whole segregation issues that educating children by reference to their parentā€™s beliefs will have.

Mullen is a cunt. Talking about Catholic schools as if they are the model of education.

Think we had this debate before didnā€™t we? Mine is WWII, and more specifically the war in Europe from June 44 to May 45. Twelve months of good honest war fare.

Would have a strong interest in the early 90s troubles in the Balkans too.

:clap::clap::clap:

his recent articles in the examiner have been particularly odious

another reason to abolish the seanad.

the man is a walking anachronism, harking back to an era nobody in their right mind would wish to revisit.
