Top 10 Irish Restaurants (that spidey visited in a week )

The chinese in the same town, I think it is called Kingsland, is the best in Ireland.

It may well be, I don’t eat Chinese though. For a small town it has a nice few decent eateries, Harte’s does top notch food too.

What did you have?

Is that the place over the five jockeys? Was there after the Curragh earlier this month. Never heard a stronger Kildare accent than the auld wan serving us.

@Bandage - we ate here too many years ago. I think it’s next to Macari where we also ate very regularly. #foodies

For jaysus sake

Lunch, mate.

Of all these places I only remember Macaris chipper.

This speaks volumes.

Slightly misleading headline here.

Had a smashing meal in Pilgrims in Roscarbery on Saturday night.

Menu was small but the food was of exceptional quality. Had Lamb and Chard dolmades for starter and a beautiful piece of striploin accompanied with summer cabbage and chimichurri for mains. The new spuds which were done in garlic butter and scallions were amazing too.

My pet had the Brill which was also excellent. Had a salted caramel and hazelnut crumble for dessert which was also excellent.

4 of us in it, all had three courses and drink, bill came to €200. Great value, would highly recommend it

No coffin cooler or cold room for that draught, under the counter cooler and a short draw makes for a decent pint of porter.

Off to union hall today for 3 nights.

Anything to recommend?

Dinty Cahalanes is a fine pub. Decent grub albeit it isnt what it used to be. Youl see UH in approx 4 mins

Mary annes is a few miles away in Castletownshend (the other constituent of Castlehaven GAA club) and is top class for grub.

Boatmans in UH another grand pub. Also close to Leap worth calling to Conollys a legendary music venue and you will probably get live music in some form most nights

If younger kids with ye there is an adventure centre on the water in rosscarbery lagoon.

All above within 10 mins of UH
