Just back from an evening in pearl brasserie. Quality seems to have stopped a good bit, but was still packed.

Had the Roquefort & pear starter and Barbary duck for the main. The Panna Cotta dessert was the highlight.

Was out there last night after the swim for pizza and a few pints. There were eight of us, so the restaurant booked us two tables of four side by side. When the owner left early, the waitress, who I know well enough from going in there, asked did we want to move round one table, so we did.
They left the other vacated table empty despite having a fair few people turn up.
Sensible application
Stupid rules.
I had 3 and a half pints of neck oil, and a lovely pizza, with a decent shared starter and a lovely shared salad for £30 including a good tip.
