Those reports about health and safety closures would frighten you.

Cork with another Michelin star.

Anyone try any of these cook at home kits from any of these Dublin Restaurants. Seem a bit gimmicky.

@Bandage

I got one from a Limerick restaurant.
As you said, it’s a bit gimmicky.I think it was around €70 to cook my own dinner.
Now it was very nice to be fair, but for the money I’d just make it myself the next time.

In essence they are charitable donations

Haha yeah, €70 to cook your own is €40 to charity I suppose. See that place in cliff at Lyons is €200!!! 7 courses. You wouldn’t be away from the stove al night.

One Michelin star restaurant for lunch and you’ll very very rarely go wrong.

Chapter One for lunch is probably my favourite ever meal - out by 3.30 or so. Late afternoon Pints. Home by 7.30/8 Fresh as a daisy next day.

Gilbauds was the original great lunch venue of a Saturday. It’s overcrowded and overpriced and well overtaken now. The small place on the green is fabulous.

The Greenhouse?

I was there when it had one star. Food was ridiculously good. You’d stop chatting when next course emerged.

€210 to cook your own dinner and serve it with a tweezers.

You’d hardly pay that in the restaurant, and no cooking cleaning or washing up.
I wonder which “selected areas of Kildare” they won’t deliver to.
