Top 10 Irish Restaurants (that spidey visited in a week )

He seems a hard worker, a think outside the box type, who had absolutely nothing handed to him and seems a genuinely nice sort too. Fair play to him on the books. Can you tell us if its good in time @tallback?

A real about turn of tfk opinion on this cook fella.

Can we please name and shame the number of tfk posters who were calling him a wanker for helping homeless people? They might even be brave enough to put their own hands up (I doubt it).

I still think he’s a bit of a needy oddball

Any recommendations for Cork lads. Down there next week for a night or two.

Elbow Lane always gets a recommendation on here.
It’s very good.

Market Lane in Cork is nice too

There’s a place down there that has a chef who used to cook for the Emperor of Japan.

It is but the same issue comes up all the time. You can’t book it. So need to chance it on spec

Jacobs on the Mall for something more traditional. Not cheap but really good in a class venue

If you want to push the boat out book the tasting menu in Greenes. Pricey but the best food in Cork city IMVHO

Two places actually. He’s serving proper royalty now

Fair play for doubling down on what appears to be a classic TFK needlessly contrarian hot take.

I happened to see Gaz perform an act of kindness on twitter that was later deleted by both parties due to sensitivities involved. It may literally have been a life saver

What a sound guy. Won’t see many restaurants doing that I’d say. This and feeding the homeless.

And you’ve guys on here will call him a cunt for essentially being a decent human being. TFK really is a strange place.

Yeah I don’t know him at all obviously but he does seem to live permanently on twitter which I’m sure annoys some people. But he has a business to promote so :man_shrugging:

You can book it now

He answered a cry for help late on a weekend night of someone else I follow on twitter and brought him back to his place and a bed to sleep in. Brekkie with his family the following day etc.

are people still spending 40 euros to buy a steak from a restaurant which they cook at home?
