Top 10 Irish Restaurants (that spidey visited in a week )

Yep few small bits annoying e.g. Offered brown bread before starter and charged 2.50 for it… Was excellent… 5 quid for bottle of sparkling water…no sides at all incl in main course prices… . They didn’t leave a penny behind.

Incl tip was 70 quid a head for 2 and only one glass of wine incl in that (and no steak) Every one of the courses was good though

A common trick on the continent, but haven’t seen too many Irish restaurants pull that one. That would piss me off.

do you want your food for free is it?

Ah it’s a fabulous restaurant, everything they do is top class

Wouldn’t need much to pick up a Michelin Star

Agreed. I had an unreal Korean sticky chicken dish… One of tastiest things Iv eaten in a while. But was out of kilter with the rest of the menu and not fine dining… I’d say if they got the Michelin star they would be overflowing from the Manor crowd

I have a voucher for the manor that I’ve been planning on using in the Oak Room, which has a star.

I thought you were bad with your gregg’s addiction flatty but if you’re eating at kentucky fried pigeon it puts an entirely different perspective on things.

KFC is only for malteser krushems

I’m going to make it my business to go down to Wexford and give them my custom in 2022.

Brave and noble stance.

I ate in a place called Katie browns last night in ardfert. It was much nicer than I expected and is a huge spot. Id say you could sit 150 odd inside easily. It’s a bit random there’s such a big and extremely busy restaurant as it’s sort of in the middle nowhere? It’s not a place I’m overly familiar with tbf.

The food was good and the starters/mains were working out at about 35 quid.

Lovely spot there. Far from middle of nowhere though sure it’s only minutes from Banna and Ballheigue would be hopping in the summer. Close enough to tralee as well. That’s a relatively busy road from tralee up to causeway

Well it was hoping yesterday. I was in around 5:30 and there was easily a 100 plus people sitting down. Food was very good.

Marco Pierre White Dawson St. Had the rib eye. Poor. Full of fat and gristle. Shouldn’t have been put on the pan. Full stop.

Wine was nice. A super Tuscan.
