That very disappointing. I was in a one in London years and years ago and it was top class. I’d probably be unlikely to go to the one in Dublin anyway at the prices it’ll be.
Sigh
He must have been starving after it. Little biteen of mash
That’s a bland looking steak if I may say so. Where in Eire is the steak from?
All looks a bit meh. If you are forking out for big steaks you really don’t want meh.
That’s a bit bizarre. Did you take both of those pictures yourself, from two different sides of the table, or did you ask your mate to take one and send it on to you?
I doubt many folk dining in the Hawksmoor will be paying for it themselves tbh. Business express.
So is @Spidey the lad in the cheap white t-shirt or the lad with the wedding ring on his baby finger?
I was in there last week for the first time. I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest.
We did the tasting menu. I don’t really like them but was outvoted. As good a tasting menu as I’ve had. It’s bonkers expensive.
What are we talking €?
Got a takeaway from this place this evening. Half chicken with afghan spices barbecued with salad and naan, and okra curry with pilau rice. The okra curry was unreal.
It’s good for lunch, but poor value for the dinner.
A plaque will need to be purchased before getting Lucinda onside
Went to John Farrell’s new place Eleven - it’s in Loughlinstown where the Silver Tassie used to be and beside the excellent Whelehan’s Wines which is unfortunately closed on Sundays.
On Sundays they just do roasts - chicken, beef or pork. Come with the best roasted potatoes I have had (not in photo below) , stuffing, carrots and peas, gravy and amazing Yorkshire Puds. We added a side of baked mashed potato
It was bloody lovely and I’d recommend. It’s decent value by Irish standards for a huge feed - 23 for chicken and 27 for beef
Disappointed to see this on their website. I have an impeccably behaved 7 year old.
Kids welcome over 10 years only please.
What’ll they do with them for the 10 years?
Food looks unreal but is this where we are at…
I’m guessing he got the whole chicken for that to split between three or four?
