Cava is casual and its hip. Spanish Tapas type place.

Creole on dominick street is a bit more formal but really nice.

Asian Tea House lovely.

Boojum meant to be lovely but never been.
Have you heard of/been to Biteclub?
Was recommended to me by someone, seems to be more of a bar food type place (which would suit).

I believe the Baggot Inn has been acquired by the people who own House and Bar 37
I was just remarking that the place had the feel of somewhere that was closing down.

Louis Fitzgerald owned it I believe?

FX Buckley’s, Pembroke Street.

Nothing fancy. Good food and drink and good service.

That’ll do pig.

I’ve never stepped in it but that Moore Street ‘mall’ looks like a fucking hellhole.

That would appear to be advice to avoid Moore Mall rather than Parnell Street. There are many lovely Oriental restaurants on the Gardiner/Marlborough St end of Parnell Street which may adhere to the highest hygiene standards.

I think @twiceasnice97 sent me to that place in Kanturk before!!

You went to a restaurant on the advice of a shit-eating, bogger simpleton like @twiceasnice97?

I was in the North Cork area. He was the only one that replied.

Will be dining here tonight with the gaffer. Rib-eye on the bone looks good but if he wants to meet in the middle on the porterhouse I won’t give out - it is review and bonus allocation season after all.

Go there for lunch the odd time, gets a big meh from me

carvery is it? roast beef, veg and half chips/half mash and gravy with a pint of mi wadi, classic roaster

Is the Dark Horse one of the Galway Bay Brewery pubs? That’s not good.

Just you and the boss out for dinner?

A bit weird no?

Nope, their one is in Blackrock. Similar name alright.
