Mao, Chatham St for lunch, Super Miss Sue, Drury St for dinner.
Ate in Mao before. It was very good.
For lunch perhaps he could take her across the road to Synotts and fill her full of carvery, then sleep through the show.
I like Darwin’s on Aungier Street. Could be a dinner option, pal. Great steak usually. The Green Hen on Exchequer Street is another favourite of mine. Whitefriar Grill on Aungier Street is also usually good and is a versatile lunch/brunch/dinner option.
If you like tapas, Salamanca is very nice. A little pricey but worth it.
stick to the hang sandwiches
That’s a clamping.
Anyone been to this all you eat Brazilian in ranelagh?
Didn’t know there was one but have been to them in other cities. Novelty wears off quickly uinless the meat is good quality and cooked right.
Ya I have been to others as well. Think I’ll give it a lash tonight
Let me know how it goes. I like the sound of all you can eat meat.
I bet you do
Can someone recommend some decent spots for grub in Kilkenny for tomorrow night or Sunday?
Fancy or standard? Grub or cuisine?
Cuisine on the Saturday, grub on the Sunday
zunis or campagne for cuisine
endless choices for grub
Ate in the Marble City Bar the last time I was there. Was good grub
If you want to impress her bring her to Campagne. Michelin Star restaurant that I found very nice. If on a cheaper budget there’s a lovely tapas restaurant over the bridge on left hand side as you head towards castle. I’d say @Midshipman Asha is your best bet here though.
Matt the Millers on the Sunday, wouldn’t have a notion re cuisine
Food in Matt the Millers is very average
You’re to Kilkenny pal…the place is average other then their hurlers
