I don’t appreciate your attempt at humour here Fagan

Come over to the northside and hit Ely at Chq.

That’s just the same as HQ in GCD isn’t it?

Or you could just get a feed of chicken wings and a pint of Smithwicks in the Harbourmaster.

I’m beginning to regret asking this question

It’s near the IFSC in Spencer Dock - so, Royal Canal rather than Grand Canal methinks.

You should be glad nobody has suggested a breakfast roll yet.

I’ve heard good things about the Chophouse, bud.

Ever eaten there pal?

Just the once. There actually isn’t great options in the area. HE, the Oarsman or the H bar for pub grub really. I can’t say enough good things about Prestos though but depends how snooty Mrs Mac’s buddies are.

HQ I meant

The Marker as well. Probably be the best bet if you’re with a load of women.

Osteria Lucio, @Mac mate.

Won’t be open at 5. Mac is after a high tea I think.

Think it will, mate.

You know best.

The chophouse is very nice, id recommend the fishcakes.
Somebody told me The Old Spot is supposed to be good also but I’ve never been and couldn’t officially recommend it without testing it out.

Chophouse does great steak - really good. The old spot is very good too - again basically a restaurant. Both will be pricey enough.

Osteria Lucio is good but the menu is limited enough - check that out before going.
