Got down much later than I expected, had to make do with 4 slices of fast als at 3am after being wedged into the crane lane.

Just had an outstanding hot lamb shoulder sandwich from a place down the side of the GPO. It’s called Orzo or something like that.

I’m in a hipster tea room in Waterford City. I’m going to have a sourdough sandwich. There’s a chap here in his 20s with one of those taches that curl up at the ends, like Poirot

@ChocolateMice on a day pass?

That looks smashing, I love a bowl of soup with a plain cheese sandwich.

To Limerick posters I’d recommend the new cafe/bistro at Punches cross. Great for the aforementioned soup and sourdough sandwich and excellent daily specials.

That’s open a while now? Wasn’t up to much when it first opened if I remember correctly -

I saw the original, cunt face :grinning:

Only about a month I’d say. It’s been really good both times I was in, savage burger and great soup.

They also appear to have an excellent selection of whiskies and gins.

I must be thinking of an older place that opened there so.

What’s the name of the place?

Yeah orzo is lovely

Green yard cafe I think.

Yeah

The mrs was there the other night, her second time… said it’s top notch alright… It had just burned down the one time I went to go in.

I’d seen it was closed alright I didn’t know what had happened. Food is all cooked on flames in a small grill that they ratchet up and down as required. Tiny kitchen the whole thing is on display to the customers. They have a few tables at the counter and I sat there one night. Place was jammed and I’d say the head chef didn’t break a sweat nor say more than 5 words to the rest of the staff just kepts doling out the grub. Well worth a visit

''Twas ham rather than cheese. But it was savage. The bread was unreal. I asked the nice girl with all the tattoos who served me where they sourced it and she to,d me it came from the Seagull bakery in Tramore.

Went to the Briar Rose to meet with friends, ended up getting pizza in the old bookies beside O’Driscoll’s in Douglas and heading home.

Aye in the wild geese in Adare tonight, a restaurant I had previously recommended to Limerick posters or visitors. I had a nice rack of lamb main but the place and menu is a bit dated.
1826 head and shoulders best restaurant in town.
Nevilles cross looked lovely in the dark, is the grub any good in there?

Where’s this now?
