Amazed “dual star Keith Higgins” (Cc Brian Carty) hasn’t been mentioned yet.

I’ll hold off for the inevitable “top 3 wristy full backs who also played soccer in their youth and are now teachers in Killmallock” thread

give up on the GGA mate , its for bigots

Gearoid Hegarty, Stephen Lucey and JBM.

We’re doing it again??

Teddy McCarthy won the double in 90.
Alan Kerins played in both finals in 01
John Halpin played in both finals, not in same year though.
Declan Browne was classy in both but he missed a sitter for the U21 hurlers and never played for the senio hurlers after.

Sean Og wasn’t up to much as an inter county footballer
Teddy Mc was an outstanding football player and a very good hurler,
JBM was a much better footballer apparently but he made the correct decision going with hurling
Ray Cummins is the undisputed winner in this debate but I’m a bit young to say so myself
