There was a long debate on whether to include Gort or not, with the vote split 50:50. The got in on a coin toss the poxy cunts.
The aul lad always reckoned Mick Mackey and Nicky Rackard were the greatest. He’d also eulogise Tony Doran.
Mine reckoned all the Rackards were right up there but that Jimmy Doyle was overrated.
He said Kilkenny’s Billy Fitzpatrick was a very underrated player and that Ray Cummins was class but a bit windy when the going got tough.
