I should also have included a couple from the Stars of Heaven. Certainly the Lights of Tetouan and the Sacred Heart Hotel. They were a very good band but they were criminally mismanaged.

Alternative Ulster always got the plaudits, but Listen remains my favourite SLF song. A paranoid love song, built around the tried and tested quiet verse / loud chorus mode.
I’d have this in any list.
