That was the greatest moment of my sporting Life that I wasn’t playing in. National school. Can still remember Eamon Cregan nearly beat us , and the sense of disbelief that we won. That game is why I love hurling. @Fagan_ODowd can be as snippy as he wants. The limericks can behave like tinkers that won the lottery, I’d rather follow Galway than any other county. Meet with triumph and disaster. Epic.

Galway were a better side. Limerick had the best player on the day was my very young recollection. Not a bad stroke in it afair.
Galway don’t despise Limerick or fear them. Galway have no strong feelings about Limerick. Kk, feared them, tipp, red tag to a bull, cark, can’t remember, Limerick meh.
