Top Gangland Boss Shot Dead

That is chilling stuff.

That’s basically it !

Albeit I’d say most of the support is for his mother who opened the business originally

Some place for grub in fairness I would have thought it was a goldmine but it was under serious financial pressure I was reading

It was seen to be remarkable that they kept going after Covid. A few people were wondering how they were affording to keep it open…

Would he have been threatened to store the machine or else…

All them business would have got massive subsidy during the lockdown as well tbf. But they have some amount of garden centre stock there must be millions worth of stock alone

If found guilty, I hope they throw the book at a cunt like that.

Some talk that it will go to special criminal court. Early days yet.

Hopefully. I love to see someone like that caught. No sign of being down on their luck there or a lack of opportunities.

For all the money involved, anyone involved at that level of the drugs trade surely has a constant serious fear of getting a life changing knock on the door. Big stint behind bars, ostracised by family and friends, a pariah in the community and name ruined forever.

Constantly looking over their shoulder. The money can’t be worth it.

I’d presume its like anything. The more you make the more you spend.

The outlier there is your man in the photo’s with government ministers was obviously well healed. Makes him more of a cunt in my eyes if found guilty. He has no excuse really other than pure greed.

Funny thing is they’re rarely caught if ever. Its a strange case.

The posh yerras are rowing in behind Bernie on FB, even Dr Pat O Sullivan. Waiting for the parish priest to sign in later.

I was always curious as to who exactly was buying the rubbish they sold in the shop. Ridiculously expensive jumpers etc. But it was/is basically a restaurant with a bolt on shop. And the restaurant was flying it you’d have thought.
He also owned a burger place called smash burger in Ardfert which seemed to be doing a decent trade. Food was nice. Rumours now of staff seeing him stuff the tills with cash. But North Kerry is a wicked place for rumours.

Supposedly ten bidness men are under investigation, along with some Guards, an accountant and a few more.

Some of the businesses linked would be high profile too. Bidnesses that might lend themselves to money laundering.

But as I said earlier you’d be insulted to be a bidness man and not linked to it at this stage.

Guards are combing lyrecompane and knocknagoshel as well. For what I don’t know. Supposedly they are looking for a body.

A man has been named as the snitch and all. I hope he is because if he isn’t the man is a dead man walking. Hopefully if he did help the Guards he’s under lock and key somewhere.

North Kerry is buzzing at the moment :joy:

There was massive crowds outside the courthouse earlier for the hearing

I heard Knocknagoshel has turned into a drugs hotspot similar to western suburbs in Dublin. Fierce bad.

Id say the power and danger is a drug to these lads, moreso than the money.

An outstanding update there, and would be a great yarn for me in the Westward Ho tomorrow. I’ll be able to put legs on it and spout it at the bar as folk are passing in on the road back to Foynes and North Kerry.
I will have to watch Ozark again.
