Tottenham Hotspur, the Ryan Mason variant

A slip up for Coach Conte today, canā€™t afford many of them

Conte is the spine Spurs have needed all their lives

That was a great point for Spurs today. Trip to Stamford Bridge probably our most difficult fixture of any given season. Weā€™ve won once there since 1990, in 2018. Came from behind twice and nicked a point we didnā€™t really deserve on the balance of play in the 95th minute. Very unSpursy and the fascist Russian state outfit were thoroughly sickened.

Agreed. Im delighted the offshore trust club managed to squeak an equaliser. A crucial blow struck for the carribean.

What happened with the managers, Iā€™ve seen the incident on twitter but canā€™t figure out who was the aggressor

Tuchel got wound up into a state of delirium. He was positively unhinged.

The Kraut took the last minute goal very badly. These Germans are very sore losers

Tuchel made an underhand remark about Contes ā€œIrish jigā€.

It looked like Conte took offence earlier and came up to Tommy and they had words. Tommy did a Cody on it then at the full-time handshake.

Hard fought enough win at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers to finish the day in 2nd. Weā€™ve picked up 7 out of 9 points from a tricky enough opening schedule. The corresponding 3 fixtures last season yielded 0 points from 9.

Yet another goal scoring record broken by @Special_Olympiakos ā€˜one season wonderā€™, Golden Boot Harry. A 185th league goal in Tottenham colours, the most scored by any player for a single club during the Premier League era, overtaking the 184 league goals scored by Sergio Aguero for Manchester City.

Playing a side like Wolves who like to pass and keep the ball, suited Spurs today, even if you wouldnā€™t have thought it watching the first half. Itā€™s the reason Spurs perform relatively well against top 10 sides - Conteā€™s teams are primarily set up to counter attack and this team are no different. Teams in the bottom half of the table often sit deeper and are generally more direct, Spurs have trouble with these sides.

A renewal of the 1991 FA Cup Final next weekend. Spurs at Forest.

Massive chance for the two North London teams to gatecrash the Top 3 with Chelsea in transition and Liverpool burnt out. Woolwich have the flair but Tottenham have the steel and a better manager. Two games a week will test the squads. Hotspurs will need to go full tilt in the UCL and while the Lego Man will rotate in the UEL, Thursday night football is generally detrimental.

Is there a prospect of GBH catching Alan shearer as top PL all time scorer?

Gatecrash?
Spurs were regularly top three under Poch

Correct. Spurs finished Top 3 in each of 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18 under Pochettino, 4th in 2018/19 and 4th last season.

Woolwich havenā€™t finished in the Top
4 in any of the past 6 seasons. They invariably implode once they face decent opposition, rarely pick up anything in games against so called ā€˜Big 6ā€™ opposition. God love them, they appear to be planning the open top bus parade already after a home win over Leicester and wins at Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

Woolwich have a relatively handy run of fixtures to start the season, they could be in a good place going into the WC break.
