Good man EPL Dan.
Well I suppose they’d be a lot more familiar with the open top bus parade than your lot over the last 30 odd years
Spurs won their opening 3 fixtures last season?
Last season, we lost 0-2 to Wolves, 2-3 to Southampton and 2-0 at Chelsea.
Corresponding fixtures from the past matter now?
It’s very basic really. I stated that we picked up 7 from 9 points from a tricky enough opening 3 fixtures that yielded 0 points from 9 last season.
Can’t be spelt out any simpler than that really. You keep working away though trying to grapple with it. You may get there eventually.
The Woolwich are very jumpy.
They’re giddy with excitement that Lego Man has steered them to top of the table after 3 games. Let them have their moment.
The name Lego is derived from “leg godt”, the Danish for “play well”.
The Arsenal are legoing.
Spurs getting blackguarded there again. How does the Nottingham Forest not get a red card for that Spurs penalty?
Dean Henderson is a top quality goalkeeper. Great save on the penalty.
A lacklustre enough performance but Golden Boot Harry surely wraps it up with a second. Great to have Forest back in the top flight for a few banker points.
Richarlison taking the piss out of Forest and driving that cunt Carragher apeshit in the process, great to see.
He’s some tosser.
An arsehole
It’s the big one of the season for West Ham tonight. Tottenham Hotspur at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium.
The positives are unbeaten and 11 points from 15 and we picked up 8 points in 4 of those games, all 4 of which we lost season. That’s about it on positives.
Performance levels have not been good over first 5 games though and it’s been pretty turgid. Coach Conte is the latest in the line of pragmatic managers after Mourinho and Nuno, which is alien really to the traditional Spurs way of playing and what Spurs fans expect. All three of those managers are stubborn, slow to make substitutions or change tactics once things start going wrong and don’t seem to have a Plan B.
You can see it here that @backinatracksuit is not happy about things.
Coach Conte has been supported in the transfer market and has brought in the players he wants. It obviously pales in comparison to the financial clout of Man U and Nottingham Forest but they are now largely Coach Conte’s players. We’re still crying out for a creative midfielder though.
They don’t have much craft in midfield. The French lad he bombed out had it but didnt cover ground.
Davinson Sanchez, Hojdberg and Emerson Royal are all very pedestrian bordering on uncomfortable on the ball. Royal threw in one great cross though.
Son can be infuriating, was clean through but for that bad touch, 2-0 and the game is over.
Son has been in dire form. He needs to be dropped starting on Saturday.
Wait, are you dropping or starting him?
Just 4 points dropped by Spurs in their first 5 games, while remaining unbeaten. If they stay picking up points at this rate, they will have their second highest ever points total in the EPL era. What a job Coach Conte has done
