Tottenham Hotspur, the Ryan Mason variant

No doubt they’ll avoid a hipster appointment anyhow.

Sean Dyche?

Greatest ever Spurs Manager?

Relief for Spurs fans that the grim regime of Conte is almost at an end. I suspect it possibly will be Pochettino again. Not hugely enthused by that. Never go back.

Evidence today in The Emirates what happens when a club trusts and backs a manager. spurs need to learn from their betters.

Arsenal today showed the same refusal to accept their fate as back in 1919 when they bribed their way into the top division ahead of Spurs. You have to applaud them really

I really do haunt someone’s dreams here🤷‍♂️ bizarre stuff

Where to next for Conte?

A banning surely? @admin?

I don’t know how many managers Tottenham have had under Levy’s chairmanship, but it’s been a lot.

Maybe they’re not all wrong and change is needed elsewhere? He’s delivered fuck all bar a big stadium that has put them in Queer Street for decades.

Conte is a chequebook manager. The kind that can only prosper with the limitless financial backing and funding that you get from an oil rich autocratic rogue State.

Look, they’ve regularly qualified for the champions league in recent years, which is great for the supporters obviously, that’s the big one for a club like Spurs for whom competing for the league title is generally a pipe dream, Pochettino had them really purring for a few years without the resources ploughed into Conte’s team.
This thread is now the domain of WUMs in general which is what it is obviously, @myboyblue has an insane, frightening obsession with me so that’s how it has to be :man_shrugging:

Who tagged me?

I don;t follow any English soccer team but I’ve always had an interest in both Tottenham and Villa as I have close relations in North London and Birmingham and they’ve brought me to games over the years. I’ve no interest in wumming - I’m making what is surely a valid point. Tottenham always seen to implode, even when circumstances are in their favour. Surely it all can’t be down to their multiple managers?

Tottenham as well to cut Conte adrift so he can go win a heap with someone else and they can keep plodding along

Conte didn’t suit spurs. Probably because he’s a winner

Absolutely he is so why did Spurs employ him. I heard someone on the radio recently saying spurs are a project club with an instantaneous manager and Chelsea are an instantaneous club with a project manager.

Levy seems to have a type lately Mourinho, Conte, Santos all dour football specialists.

Not exactly the free flowing Spurs types

That’s not exactly worked for them either

I replied to you precisely because you’re not a WUM, you made a valid point

No but it at least it was fun. Missing out on Howe looks an awful blunder
