+1. Spurs were mostly terrible in the 90’s before his arrival in 2001. He had them competing in the Champions League on a semi-regular basis and built a new stadium. They’ve had far more relative success in the last 20 odd years than Newcastle or Villa who were better than them in the 90’s.

His biggest failing is probably not pushing on and opening up the cheque book post Pochettino but the stadium took priority at that stage.
