Sol Campbell has to take one of the centre half positions.
He left in 2001 around the same time as Dan took the reigns - Ledley Kimg worthy of an honourable mention here

Thatâs sort of the point. Levyâs first big test was to get their club captain and best player to sign a new contract. Levy started penny-pinching, Campbell ended up joining Arsenal on a free transfer and becoming one of their greatest ever defenders. Levy didnât come close to having a defender as good as Campbell for the rest of his time at Spurs. There was some lovely symmetry with Arsenal making a fool of Levy with the signing of Eze this summer as well.

They were unlucky with Ledley King maybe. Was his arrival on the scene something Levy felt made Campbell dispensable?
They could have held onto both of them of courseâŠstacking squads full as they do nowadays wasnât a think then though
There is a chance Levy thought Campbell dispensable, but that would just be a reflection of how clueless Levy was about football. Spurs ended up paying massive money to sign Dean Richards that summer to replace Campbell though, so it was more likely just Levy doing his usual penny wise pound foolish routine.

Built a new stadium and training ground as well. Last five years have been poor though. From 01 to 2019 it was a linear improvement almost.

I see we came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at the Goldstone Ground against bogey team Brighton & Hove Albion. Youâd have to take that. Moving in the right direction under Coach Frank.
