They’re just not a serious club.
When they celebrated losing to City because Arsenal would lose the league, well, you just knew then.
Has there been more than one Spurs manager that resembles a rat in human form?
Pleaty
It’s hard to keep track of all the managers and what they look like.
There’s a fella playing for Middlesbrough whose contract is coming up; Hayden Hackney, he’s supposed to be the best player in the Championship. An all-action midfielder, maybe Spurs should make a move for him in the summer. I do think Xavi Simons will come good but he needs a bit of power around him, much like Wirtz.
Spurs handled Bodo easily last year. You really have to feel they made another massive mistake when they sacked Ange
The big positive of relegation would be seeing the back of most of the current squad en masse. Promotion specialist and former Tottenham Hotspur player, Scott Parker in as manager next season.
Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the European Cup. A proper traditional European pairing. We beat Atletico 5-1 in the Cup Winners Cup Final in Rotterdam in 1963, to become the first English club to win a European trophy.
Not sure if we’ve faced them since. I can’t recall any meetings anyway. This is where you’d really miss the encyclopaedic knowledge of all matters Tottenham Hotspur related @Matty_Hislop
Is it time to play the reserves in this and prioritise EPL safety?
No. Play the strongest available in all games.
Bring back Mikey Moore asap. A proper londoner
It might be the closest we come to a team playing Champions League football from the 2nd tier if they were to win it. Wigan and Birmingham have managed Europa League football from the 2nd tier in the last 15 years.
Spurs have better European pedigree than most teams on their half of the draw. Should be targeting the final
Millwall in 03/04 also
Spus behind at Fulham inside 6 minutes. Shamblic defending from the hapess Dragusin.
2-0 Fulham.
Iwobi with a screamer. This is getting ugly from a Spurs perspective.
Richarlison pulls a goal back. 2-1.
Crazy appointment. A very modest managerial CV and no expereince of the English Premier League as either a player or manager. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone in 3 or 4 games time. Outright panic will set in with the board if there is no new manager bounce and we are still in the relegation mix with 5-6 games to go.
A 2-1 loss at Fulham, so that’s 2 defeats from 2. Home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. Lose that and he’s under serious pressure already. Only saving grace out of this weekend is Nottingham Forest, Leeds and West Ham all lost.
I’d have got Arry in until the end of the season.
