There’s a fella playing for Middlesbrough whose contract is coming up; Hayden Hackney, he’s supposed to be the best player in the Championship. An all-action midfielder, maybe Spurs should make a move for him in the summer. I do think Xavi Simons will come good but he needs a bit of power around him, much like Wirtz.

It might be the closest we come to a team playing Champions League football from the 2nd tier if they were to win it. Wigan and Birmingham have managed Europa League football from the 2nd tier in the last 15 years.
Spurs have better European pedigree than most teams on their half of the draw. Should be targeting the final

Crazy appointment. A very modest managerial CV and no expereince of the English Premier League as either a player or manager. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone in 3 or 4 games time. Outright panic will set in with the board if there is no new manager bounce and we are still in the relegation mix with 5-6 games to go.
A 2-1 loss at Fulham, so that’s 2 defeats from 2. Home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. Lose that and he’s under serious pressure already. Only saving grace out of this weekend is Nottingham Forest, Leeds and West Ham all lost.
I’d have got Arry in until the end of the season.
