Ah fuck. Thatā€™s a real shame. Game over.

Will they just go flat out now for the 60k?

No, thereā€™s still a mountain finish

Yep

Might make for a good watch

For sure

Canā€™t see anyone losing that much time.
What price a bag of matched blood?

Alaphilippe gone here. Jumbo Vilma have been relentless.

Alaphilippe lost his podium finish here

Thatā€™s a pity

That Dutch guy is only a wheel sucker.

Which team is that? Is that the Dutch ladā€™s team. Canā€™t keep up with the sponsor changes each year.
Agree with @balbec. He seems to be a complete leech. I donā€™t recall him attacking once

Jumbo Visma. The old Rabobank team

The Tour de France starts tomorrow in Nice, near where I was supposed to be on my holidays this year. I reckon it is going to be an absolute disaster. I donā€™t see how the Tour will go across France unscathed from the Corona. Nice has been declared a red zone. Also lots of crashes since racing resumed.

One of the hardest Tours for years. Five mountain top finishes, only one TT and thatā€™s a climb as well. It is a Tour designed for a climber, ideally Thibauld Pinot for the French.

No Chris Froome or Geraint Thomas, dropped by Ineos. Egon Bernal the undisputed leader there.

Bernal probably the favourite, won last year but did pull out with a back injury near the end of the Dauphine so I wouldnā€™t be putting the house on him.
Primoz Roglic was in red hot form in the Dauphine and crashed heavily on second last day. I reckon he has peaked a bit too early like he did in the Giro last year, will see.
Pinot will shit himself if he gets within a whisker of the yellow jersey.
Iā€™d like to see Mikel Landa do well, for the first time he has a team behind him. Heā€™ll fuck up on one day though.
Quintana will win a stage, in good form this year.
Pogaczar the Slovenian aged 21 the dark horse.
Dumoulin probably a bit too heavy to do well here, also no TT Kms.

Of the Irish, Sam Bennett has a chance of a sprint win and he has a strong team supporting him. Dan Martin riding for stage wins. Also hurt his back recently but he could be an outside bet for a stage. Nico riding as well wonā€™t do much beyond team working.

Was speaking to an ex pro who reckons bernal hasnā€™t done enough racing and is extremely vulnerable, but itā€™s sky, so preparation will be good

Yeah itā€™s very uncertain. Everyone is under raced this year. There will be crashes everywhere.
