There was no trouble, the city crowd were in good form.
Were you in the stand, I was below the noisy Limerick crew,
A lot of young fellas were talking excitedly about the ‘fight’ afterwards, most of the Limerick ultras seem completely harmless, a few hard chaws hanging around the edges but mostly the same old faces from years ago.
City haven’t historically been a troublesome support, you make them sound like vintage Millwall, they’re far from it.
Apropos of nothing, I went with one of my little girls, she asked me straight away why they all sing in an English accent!
It came into my mind later as they were chanting ‘you can stick your English market up your hole’ like a choir from Salford

Decent win tonight, two tap-ins in reality but comfortably the better team and should have had another goal or two.
Thought Matt Keane was excellent. Ludden strong as always. Christopher was tidy too.
