Yea, that’s it. A quick google brings up a boards thread that I remember reading years ago. Thanks.
I’ve no idea where it comes from tho
The first post here gives the reason.
What president of the United states signed Martin Luther king day and what year was the first day celebrated ?
FFS it looks like a bad Desmond league match
It was the 80s anyway so has to be Reagan. 1984?

The year was 1985 and the first year celebrated was 86.

A front room in Sixmilebridge?
Truagh to be precise. Interestingly enough the home he was reared in is also outside the Bridge and is actually in Oatfield which I believe is fireballs catchment area.
Its nearly in Clonlara so. I wouldn’t know where Davy or Pat lives tbh
Truagh is Clonlara parish and that is where he built. His mother is from there and assume it is family land. Oatfield is a few more miles up the road where you split off for either the Bridge or Broadford. Truagh, Oatfield would be fairly equidistant between the three villages.
Is his mother not from Co Limerick? A Quinlivan iirc
Maybe, could be Pat’s mother’s stock so
You must have forgotten that from his buke.
Didn’t know the home house was in the next parish, tisn’t very far out. They’d be a lot closer to the town than large swathes of Kilmurry
I think Jamie Shanahan is an Oatfield man as well, The Mills crowd are never too happy when that one is hopped off them as he is one they feel got away. Surprised the auld lad didn’t send him to Broadford
The mother is from West Limerick, Shanagolden. It’s where he get’s his madness from
