Trivia

Have we found a question which TFK can’t answer??

What was the first village in Ireland to get electricity as part of the rural electrification scheme 75 years ago?

Surely somewhere in the ardnacrusha electoral district

Surprisingly not

Clonlara.

What was the answer?

NHB established 1822

I think I know this so I’ll leave it here. Possibly a village that would support the Dubs….

There was electricity in Ireland long before Ardnacrusha was built.
Looks like the answer is November 5th, 1946, at Kilsallaghan, in north Co Dublin.

Certainly is a bit of useless trivia. But that’s the thread title I suppose…

Oldtown village, north county Dublin

The Phil Lynott song of the same name was about the rural electrification scheme.

My third time to post this :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. Maybe it’s just a misprint.

The most sensible reply in the tweets is that it’s the combined goal total of all the players at that club that season. Even that doesn’t explain to me why the highest scorers I remember in a season are one and two.

Surely if you add up all the individuals’ goals it’s the same as how many goals the team scored though ?

I assume he means career goals in the squad
