Heaslip being picked as captain has given him a new lease of life. Same as when Cullen took it over with Leinster. He may as well be captain on the pitch but doesnāt have to handle any of the background shite that comes with it. Heāll be at the centre of everything that is right about Ireland in the 6 nations. Looks in very good nick currently. I think hel be ok. Not a huge amount of soft tissue injuries. But yeah, he is still putting it about big time. Thereās a reason he gets away with it for the most part though, he knows what heās doing. I see halfpenny today flaking into SOB with his head on wrong side of tackle, poor technique will do more damage than any lack of size, halfpenny got away with it today but heās fcked if he keeps at that.
