40 points placed at Cheltenham 50.75 returned. 10.75 points profit. The 6 nations comes to an end tomorrow so the 4 i/r bets will be added to the profit total after the Ireland game.
The 6 nations came to an end last weekend. The long term bets went well, two of the 4 successful. Amazing that the total tournament tries bet didn’t come up on the last week. It was a poor final round of games. Ireland scored 13 tries, and Wesley Fofanna was 2nd in the top tryscorer market, ensuring e/w return at 33/1 unlucky not to win it overall with 4 tries. Overall on the 6 nations tournament bets we placed 13 points and got back 17.25. A 4.25 points profit.
Total Bets: 70
S/R: 38.6%
Points Outlay: 182.5
Return: 222.03
Profit: 39.53

Impressive return. I’m not one to question your methods but do you think you spread your expertise too thinly at times. I did a double take when you recommended a 147 bet on the snooker a while back. Surely the bookies have a ridiculous margin on that type of “novelty” bet?
That would be a somewhat fair observation Rocko. That 147 bet I just had a quick look back on, it was a very small stake at a very big price, and you would be right in saying that it should have been a much bigger price than bookmakers were quoting but there is a reason behind everything I do when I bet, I don’t just have a bet for the sake of it. That bet was on a player that I thought was coming right back to form and his break building was excellent in his most recent game, I thought that in that sort of format without too much pressure on he may well do it, and I didn’t want to miss out if he did. You will rarely find me giving one of those “novelty” bets but 80% of my own betting activity is recorded in here (I do have bets that I can’t post in here due to time constraints etc and I also have the odd spread bet that wouldn’t be known to the mainstream) Thank you for the feedback though Rocko, I won’t waste 0.5 points on a 225/1 shot that should be 500/1 again.
Apart from your spectacular start which had you up 25 points within less than two weeks you have appeared to level off a bit with 14 points profit since. Would you be happy enough with this or expecting to do a bit better? How would this compare with other tipsters on other sites who have documented their bets?
I’d be happy enough Gola, any man can have a short term profit, they can dance and sing about it, but the real acid test is showing a continual profit (even over 4 months). 25 points profit in the first two weeks was nice but not as significant as you make it out to be, I staked more than that on the Cheltenham festival for example, so it wasn’t a case of tacking on another 14 points profit over 3 months. If you were a non-punting type and followed in her with €10 per point would you not be happy with just under €400 in your account now? Now if you are a punting type like myself and you are having €50 per point you would be up €1976.50. It’s not to be sniffed at and a nice earner on the side. Winning isn’t the problem, getting on is the problem.
Quality.
The Tipping Klown.
Thank you Appendage. Now may I ask you to leave the thread unless you have something of note to say, or indeed if you would like to list almost 80% of the bets you make in your life over a year and try to show a profit. Many thanks.
Well done TTK it’s a very very good return
Anybody who came through che ahead did very well
Thank you, both noble men. I will endeavour to continue the profitability of this thread.
Fair play TTK, you’ve taken your fair share of abuse from posters including myself but we’ve become allies over the course of it. However, you’ve resisted the temptation to get into petty squabbles (bar welching on that bet with Shannonsider ) and kept at it. I wouldn’t be in a position to post such successful P/L figures since Xmas so I won’t be doing a KIB Man on it and making a big deal about your losers. What KIB Man doesn’t realise is that he’s partly responsible for the formation of the clique. Anyway, keep it up. Most of us proper punters on here will never begrudge a lad who’s ballsy enough to post up his thoughts in advance, no matter how much you pretend to know about Gordon Elliotts stable
what a belter ‘look at me’ post from mac
I’m partly responsible for the formation of the clique.
what a fucking tard. if the clique is lads who are upset when their blatant bullshit (2 double priced winners a week etc etc) is called out by a randomly interested internet poster, fair enough. Good of you to establish that ‘the clique’ are ‘proper punters’ who arent ‘ballsy enough to post up thoughts in advance’. The cover of ‘the clique’ seems to have been blown now. Wondering on a ‘anonymous’ internet forum why lads would get upset if their bets didnt come in but fuck me this internet thing really seems like serious business now.
Fair play to TTK. Long may you stay outside the clique and take the abuse/receive the praise from other idiots on the net.
Gosh, I wonder if Mac realised when writing that post he would wreak such a response from KIB Man?
Fair play to you TTK, any man who is willing to expose his betting in this way is brave, to come out with a decent profit over time is outstanding.
Fofana was an outstanding shout. From what iv seen in this thread you should focus on rugby and racing
Can you not get on with PP?? Mate of mine does a lot of punting for a guy we know at it full time. Closed down everywhere, numerous times. Still on same account with PP standing decent bets and well ahead over a year or so.
Well done TTK keep up the good work
Thanks to all the well wishers in here, hopefully it can continue.
Yes I agree with you, I should put a lot less money into sports like Soccer and Snooker. At the moment I’m having a good look at Ulster to beat Munster in the Heineken Cup 1/4 final. But more about that in a couple of weeks.
No, Dan, I can’t get on with PP now. In fact that’s a lie, I can but for minimal stakes, if somebody would like to tell me how to post a screenshot on here then I could illustrate it to you. I haven’t taken thousands off them but they limited me to ridiculous stakes before the festival and made me bring my business else where. As a friend of mine used say, winning is not the problem, getting on is.
Why would you go PP over betfair TTK? Surely the odds are better on Betfair and the ability to lay allows a lot more flexibility in terms of betting and trading inplay?
It’s a fair question Tallback, I suppose I’m old style. Also I like having a good e/w chunk on a horse and I hate having to drip feed that sort of bet into the win market on Betfair and again into the place market and then check to see how much of it got matched etc. I prefer knowing that if I want let’s say €200 e/w on something at 25s I can get it and I know I’m getting 1/4 odds. Forget this putting some on at 28.0, then 26.0 then 24.0, and only taking about 1/5 odds in the place only market and that’s before they deduct their commission percentage. If I am backing one at 100/1 (usually 200+ on betfair) then I will use it. The only thing betfair is good for is allowing you to lay your bet at 1/12 or whatever and I do use it for that purpose. Also if I am having a bet on an outsider in a Rugby match I’ll do it there so instead of taking 9/2 with the fixed odds firms I can get 11/2 on there.
Bet 71
What Of It 2.45 Stratford, 4 points. 7/4 Bet365
I can’t believe the price of this one, I thought he’d be close to even money, if not odds on. Started handicapping off a mark of 106 now down to 99, ran an absolute stormer last time, finishing 2nd and pulling well clear of the 3rd. Caught my eye that day and this is such a shit race. He looks really well in off 99 in current good heart and I would urge you to have a punt on him before that price goes. I’m going to have to wait until the other firms price him up in the morning :guns:
