Well this week has been a pleasant surprise.
Normal service resumed, well done @croppy_boy, barring a wondershow from Christine tonight my serious interest is over for the year. I’m blaming Sammie Coates for dropping(at least) two TD passes from my QB, big points dropped there.
I may have to add an additional ruling considering that moving a number of the idiots of that starting inactive players or bye week players are already at the back of the waiver wire thread already so there’s no consequence coming from their stupidity. I’ll wait and see the updated waiver wire wire standings tomorrow morning.
In the meantime the following is the situation:
As it stands @anon32894817, who started TWO players on their bye week, will be put to the very back of the waiver queue due to a combination of the following factors:
- Repeated infractions
- Starting a player on a bye week is far worse than starting an inactive player. The level of severity are 1. Starting a bye week player 2. Starting a player who is on injured reserve and 3. starting an inactive player.
Next in line is @Loko_Cove, who started a player, Spencer Ware, ruled inactive over two days prior to kick off of his game.
Thirdly, and lastly so far, we have @artfoley who started a player, Carlos Hyde, ruled inactive over one hour prior to the kick off of his game.
I never checked Wares activity, apologies for that, however I think you will find I still got the second highest score of the round.
Irrelevant, the warning was issued last week. You will be subject to sanctions.
Not really irrelevant. In fact it is extremely relevant
Incorrect.
This was flagged last week and the nature of the infraction was made clear. The outcome has no bearing on the fact that you failed to comply with competition regulations.
A similar examples of the result not making a difference would be an NFL team being found in breach of breaking competition rules, say for example under inflating footballs, and winning a game before later being taken to task regardless of the bearing that the illegal actions had on that particular game week.
Throw the book at the cunt.
Fair enough I’ll agree to be last on the waiver wire
As I’ve stated above we may have to review this if you’re already in that position as there would be no consequence to your disregard for complying with competition rules.
A ruling will be made tomorrow.
I’ll take a weeks suspension from the wire. Can’t do any better than that. Harsh punishment considering I was the second highest scorer for the week. But if it makes your life easier I’ll comply.
Please do not try and influence the outcome of any future disciplinary hearing.
Continuing to do so will result in additional sanctions and bullshit like that will not be tolerated on my watch. Such actions may result in points being deducted from future weeks.
You will be informed of the penalties when they they have been finalised.
A true league table of what it would look like if every team played every other team each week, interesting reading.
That is just breaking my balls. 5th and likely even better after week 9 haul of 150 pts.
Two Division leaders behind us both as well!
You play the team in front of you lads. Chuck Pagano is always saying it.
I must be a fool for trying to score as much points as possible each week.
Lots of luck involved when you take the match ups into account. My points scored is middle of the road but my points conceded is insane.
Just had a look at my matchup with @artfoley there. I have to make up 13 points with Mike Gillislee and the Seahawks D who face each other tonight.
Basically I need the cunt to run all over the field except the endzone…
The Commish has the power to edit evey players team pre-kick-off. It was a little tradition of mine to edit Bandage’s team of a Wednesday and dump his starters onto his subs. Great times.
Cool story bro.
