Didnât see the game last night but good to see a few new players bedded in.
I think 3-5-2 will be the way forward with the players at our disposal. The likes of Christie could slot into a back three and give a bit of pace back there. How did Browne and Hourihane do?
Radio1 has a couple of lads here talking about the match, it seems that weâre fucked since Robbie retired, weâll probably never ever see his likes again
Whatâs the laughing about? We never had a better striker before him and we donât look like having a better one anytime soon

No. There isnât even an argument to be made that weâve had better but Iâm sure youâll try
The funny thing is that itâs considered highly unlikely that weâll ever see one as good again

Irelandâs goalscoring record before Robbie Keane was 21. It is now 68. Thatâs all that needs to be said

The joe.ie fans will point to the goalscoring record vs previous generations not taking into account the absolute scutter that is international football now, the cannon fodder friendlies lined up for them and the sheer number of games played.

Robbie Keane scored competitive international goals against Spain, Italy, France, Holland and Germany - all teams who have either won or played in World Cup finals during Keaneâs international career.

Ya cos thongs are that black and white:rollseyes:
Keane wouldnât have made the team in late 80âs/early 90âs
But to think or say we could not have another better is so laughable itâs incredulous.
Mind you the FAI are doing a great job of narrowing the playing Poole as much as possible to reduce the chances

I never said we couldnât have another better
Robbie Keane would have been one of the best strikers in the English league if he played in the 80s

He would have been one of the best strikers in England. Jack Charlton regularly didnât play our best players so you could be right. Robbie was unlucky that his career coincided with the emergence of foreign players into English football, otherwise heâd be rated a lot higher that he is
