I watched the first few of these last night, seems decent enough alright.
I had been trying Wayward Pines but I got about 4 in and gave up, was doing nothing for me.

Serious show, great writing and outstanding acting performances.
Takes a while to get moving in series one but picks up after a few episodes. Very enjoyable.

The use of parables in both seasons is brilliant… You had a few in season 1- Billy Bob, the Jewish neighbour in the apartment bloc etc. Etc. But Mike Milligan is the king of them.
