Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

No…the Sopranos is the greatest TV show ever made, ever… Breaking bad was terribly over rated but the Sopranos gets better season after season… I’ve watched it about 5 times and I’ll watch it again.

The dogshit scene in episode 3 is one of the most cringey scenes I’ve ever seen in a TV show.

the wire was better pal

Stop what you’re doing, and watch The Sopranos. Do it. Do it now.

I love the wire but I’d place the Sopranos ahead of it…the character development is unreal…

Disagree. Wire was excellent for the first season but was on a downward trajectory after that, ending in farce.

The Sopranos is Romanzo Criminale for slow learners.

Ah, Season 2 and 3 were great too… 5 was poor alright.

that would be Game of Thrones son

The Sopranos pre dates that other thing. It’s the original and greatest TV show ever created… Everything since is paying homage.

season 5 was pretty poor, but only in comparison with the excellence that went before it. Plus the montage at the end was unrale. sopranos is very good, but too female oriented and dragged out in places.

I always thought characters like paulie walnuts were a joke aswell, that took away from it for me, he was like something out of a cartoon

Yeah, good one… He was a real life con who got into acting in jail. He effectively played himself.

he was an awful simpleton

Aren’t most of those fuckers at the lower levels, that’s the whole point… They were sociopaths

FFS sake. I’m sure that was hilarious. It sounds wonderful in your evocative retelling.

it was unreal, were you that bloke?

Junior Soprano is one of the greatest TV characters ever created.

I felt his character lacked depth, certainly no Tyrion Lannister for example
