I’ll be finishing series 1 of a little mentioned Italian crime drama called Gomorrah tonight,
Am I in for a treat? I’ve recommended this show to so many people now that I feel invested in it.
Naples burning
Series one finished, a few things surprised me but a decent wrap up.
From reading this thread I didn’t see the thing with Lady Imma happening.
The thing that happened at the end with the prison van was a bit far fetched no?
It also seemed to be policy to put a bullet in the victims head after a hit, that seemed to go out the window in the last episode.
Looking forward to series 2 big time
Yeah, I feel the plot is slightly compromised at times just to keep the action flowing. Be better if it was slowed a bit to build deeper characters but it is what it is and is very enjoyable.
Good points, it moved at breakneck speed. That is some of what is great about it but it could benefit from filing out the characters as you say, in that whole first series I could probably name 7 or 8 characters out of the dozens there has been.
I think the fact you don’t know their names for most part is an element of it. Their lives are valueless
This is it too… It does capture the futility and violence of their life.
A lot more character development in Season 2 guys, just be patient. The scene where Genny kills Malamore in the third episode of season 2 is as good as Tv gets.
You should be banned
By the by, is this the longest run in TFK history whereby something that is widely popular is not poo pooed by some contrary cunt? It’s been months now and nobody has taken up a staunch anti-Gomorrah stance.
I’m re-watching Season 2 of The Wire.
Also, as a fan of the graphic novels, I’m really enjoying Preacher. Seth Rogan involved in the production.
Luckily I haven’t a fucking clue who Malamore is
Season 2 is the docks and the Zabotkas? Not the best season but an improvement on one. I’ll definitely watch that back some time, still the best tv ever in my opinion.
Watch it again. Fantastic season.
Back watching band of brothers. Sobel you cunt.
I will, 3 and 4 were as good as tv ever got,
1 was hard work at times.
Brilliant season only topped by season 4 for me.
Frank Sobotka was a thoroughly alright sort, there’s a Ziggy in every family he was a great character too.
Omars suit and a briefcase scene was in that season as well I’m fairly sure now that I think about it.
The early scenes with McNulty fucking with Major Rawls were brilliant. Spending hours working on tidal charts just to put a body on the city
Frank Sobotka was a great character.
It’s not a documentary
Graphic novels =comic book?
