Westworld has to be one of the best shows on TV right now. God knows where it’ll go, and can they keep the storylines knitted together, but its outstanding entertainment so far. Great performances from Hopkins, Wood, Newton, Wright, Marsden, Knudsen, Simpson and of course Ed Harris.
Also, Thandie Newton really embraces nudity in it. Kudos to her.

I watched the opening episode and thought it was decent without being particularly interested in the plot. There was also a part where the American girl incorrectly corrected the grammar of some English lad which pissed me of. I’ll check out the second episode tonight.

As suspected then.
I try to give shows at least a season before packing 'em in, but I gave up on The Newsroom after 4/5 episodes, what an awful pile of wank that was.
Finished “the night of” last nt
Really good. 8 episodes is perfect really for one off show.
Did think the ending and final episode was weakest of all but still a good solid 8/10

Watched a couple of episodes of Berlin Station last night. A promising enough watch so far. Plot revolves around the CIA trying to catch a whistleblower in Berlin
I got bored of it around the episode 4 mark and haven’t gone back to it. Does it get better?
I’d say if you weren’t into it my then, its not for you. I cant believe how you wouldn’t be, but each to their own.

I’m caught up now. Good premise.
If it gets wrapped up within another series it’ll be a great TV show, if as looks likely it’ll sprawl outwards and never end until it’s humanely killed off by falling viewing figures I’ll stop watching fairly sharpish.
I’m a big fan of Knudsen. Definitely an auld bird I’d like to shag. I hope they don’t ruin it, but they almost definitely will.
Yea, I compare it to perhaps, Lost or Homeland, great premise but just overdone in the end. The fact that its on HBO will stand to it though in that they’ll be given the time to carryout their “vision”, what that vision will be is up for debate. There will be another season anyway at the very least. I’m finding it fascinating so far.
