Probably Playbook.
Also loved the one with Future Barney.

Ted is the greatest cunt going.
Hard to pick a favourite episode but its all about Barney. The one where they got in a fight actually was good.
Is The Pacific living up to B of B?
In a word, no. But it was never going to. I guess I just dont have the same interest in the war in the pacific maybe. I think second viewing will be needed though to help out with character growth and familiarisation.
Season 1 of Deadwood is TV heaven. Al becomes too much of a good guy in later episodes for my liking though.
I’m really liking V although I’m seeing things in previous epipisodes on Syfy [sky129] which are massive plotholes in the later episodes. For example Anna and Lisa are watchin Tyler through his jacket monitor argue with his mother yet in up to date episode there’s no mention that agent Evans is Tylers mother?
I watched the first series of Early Doors last night. A great little comedy. I’ll be starting the second later on.
To the Regiment…
Anyone give Tremé a shot yet? Have it DL’d, seemed to be a lot in the papers over the weekend about it. Might let a few eps build up and then rattle through them some night. Jazz isn’t really my thing, and by the sounds of it, jazz pretty much dominates it to a large extend, as you’d expect I guess. From the guy behind The Wire (another show I have to watch still, not really into cop shows, but as everyone says, The Wire is so much more than a cop show by all accounts) so you have to think there’s a bit of quality to it?
I didn’t realise it had started.
Watched 2 episodes of Eastbound and down last night.
Very good. Excellent main character.
I also liked Will Ferrell doing his best impersonation of Ric Flair. Woo.
Watched all 6 eps of Eastbound and Down due to someones recommendation here. Tremendous show. Not sure what the shelf life of it can be, the second season has a tough act to follow.
Downloaded seasons 1 and 2 of Spooks, it had better be worth it after all the talk a few at work had about it.
I believe Sky 1 are broadcasting Lost at 5Am, what freaks would get up to watch that? Fucking students and civil servants more than likely.
Lost is good this season, I wonder is it heaven, hell and purgatory or what the fuck is it all about. I think it’s on RTE tomorrow from 9pm to 11pm.
I am glad Lost is coming to an end as it is gone to shit.
True Blood is a fine series that i have got into lately…
Is that the vampire craic? Breaking Bad is a good series too.
Yes…
Speaking of great TV shows, i see there is a new series of Deadliest Catch. There was a new episode aired on Discovery earlier…
Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers and Bear Grylls all great shows. Ray Mears shows are always worth a look too.
Agreed. Only recently i sat through a Bear Grylls marathon. Back to back episodes from 12 midday and a new episode at 9pm, they even showed the Will Ferrell episode in between…
He fairly tore into the twinky straight away
He did indeed.
And he was glad to get away from Grylls in the finish: “I hate that man.”
A new bird on Mythbusters now I see, she’s not a patch on Carrie.
2 minutes of youtubing Eastbound and Down on the back of the recommendations above and it looks decent so downloaded that last night.
In the middle of watching Dexter at the moment - not breathtakingly good but it’s decent tv, have Deadwood next to go.
