I watch it but I dont know what to make of it. Good show overall but I think the lead character is a terrible actor. Over exagerating how different he is. An understated performance would work better imo
I must admit I didnt think I’d like it but am a bit of a fan and follow it fairly strongly. I’d disagree with you as regards Roth, I enjoy how he plays the role. I can understand how it seems OTT but I’m willing to buy it. I also like the storylines they have running behind the case of the week story. Its a very decent show imo.
Mellisa George is beautiful, i love her in “In Treatment”.
Watched a season of underbelly. Its very good in ways, but its no Wire. The characters don’t stay around for long enough, but if your into your gangster stuff, then its worth it. They could let it develop more personality wise, one guy in particular i was really starting to enjoy, and then he’s popped.
Glad it moves on to different stories though, as in from series to series.

Finished watching ‘Sons Of Anarchy’, the first season, like an inferior version of The Shields except with bikers. Worth a watch.

I think they may have fucked Rescue Me.
The 6th series is pretty much bull shit so far and is dragging out. They might have fucked up by not leaving it with the ending of Series 5.
Little boozing, little women, little fires. Just alot of horseshit about dying, the after life and dreams.
Tommys youngest is going to be a ride though. 
It’s a true story though so not much they can do about it other than change the pace a bit to leave guys who get killed early in more episodes.
Ya i suppose, but its over 8-10 years. Probably could have been more episodes. Its enjoyable though, and i never realised the crime underworld was at that kind of level in Melbourne. Interesting stuff, it was all really just between a fairly small group of people.
Every season has started slowly though, dont see this one as any different.
Is there other series of Underbelly other than the first? Never knew that. Its great stuff. Jam packed with ex H&A and Heartbreak High actors
Ya, 2 more series. I saw the 1st episode of the 3rd one, was about Kings Cross around the same period, about a group of Lebonese mafia. Looked good too.
Don’t know what the middle one is about, but they are all different stories.

Anyone watching Rescue Me at US Speed?
Its gone seriously dark in the last two episodes. Actually its been really dark all season so far. You’d struggle to see a happy ending to this for Tommy. The end of Ep4 and start of Ep5 was very tough viewing where Tommy took back off drinking and then his sketchy recollections of his blackout with Colleen. It does dark humour really well, but that was tough going.

Season 6 will be ten episodes long and Season 7 (2011) will have nine episodes culminating with the series finale on or around the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
Have this on my ZEN ready to go now, can’t wait to see it.

Seen all bar most recent one Sunday night. First one was decent I thought, but subsequent ones have been a lil disappointing. Characters are bloated at this point. Could do with a mercy killing of someone like E.
