Entourage has picked up in the last few weeks imo. Johnny Bananas has potential. Vince, Turtle & E should all just FOAD but I’d like to see more of yer wan Turtle was after [Blanca from the Sopranos].
Just finished John Adams btw- Excellent character piece, no fighting in it but fantastic insight into the times. The French really come across as a cool cultured race in it, you can see why they look down on the English speaking world watching this.
Entourage is slightly better alright, but Recuse ma hasn’t picked up at all really. I know what they are trying to do, but its a bit boring.
I see Sky have bought up the rights to everything produced by HBO. So Boardwalk Empire and True Blood will be going to Sky as well as older stuff like The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos.
Don’t know why but I wouldn’t watch any of those on Sky 1. Just hate that fucking channel. They’ll probably put them on movie channels first.

They were really promoting the shit out of it in America. Billboards everywhere. And loads of ads on tv. Looks really good.
Just over 2 weeks til air time, you have to say this looks like it could be more than decent. Scorsese to start with, then you have Winter and Patten who have The Sopranos in their lockers and Wahlberg as well. Buscemi to lead it, am looking forward to it.
BTW Rocko you forgot Mad Men there in the HBO locker.

Just going through the first series of Damages, its pretty excellent. Ted Danson does his thing, I hate Glenn Close but she is very good in it.

just after finishing “the pillars of the earth” mimi series…pretty good show some of the acting is terrible though…ian mcshane is its saving grace a thoroughly despicable and macheavellian character…its a good show but not a great show…watched the second half of “spartacus blood and sand” after reading a few good reviews…delighted i did the last few episodes of this are fantastic entertainment…the last episode being a particular highlight…
